The Sandy Utah Crops was started in 1979 by members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a neighborhood gardening project. Later it became a church welfare farm.

There are 20+ volunteer service-missionaries called to work at the farm each harvest season from spring until fall. The missionaries oversee the many volunteers who come from 44 stakes around the valley to help with the work.
Donated to those in need
Donated to those in need
During the 2025 season, more than 55,000 pounds of vegetables were harvested at the farm. The produce grown at this farm are sent to the Bishop's Storehouse in Sandy, UT, the Utah Food Bank, and other groups in need.
